Who Can Apply
Apply to the Traditional Doctor of Pharmacy program through PharmCAS (on campus and online hybrid)
- Are you transferring from another Pharmacy program? Click here for our transfer policy.
- Students interested in applying to a dual degree program must be admitted and successfully complete one term in the PharmD program prior to submitting an application to the second degree program. See appropriate tabs below for more details.
Shenandoah operates on a rolling admissions process, which means that we start interviewing applicants as soon as we have a complete file. It may take up to 8 weeks for PharmCAS to forward your file to us. Therefore, the sooner you submit your application and required paperwork, the better your chances of being interviewed and/or accepted.
Admission Requirements & Program Prerequisites
Official Transcripts
- Official, up-to-date transcripts from all colleges you have attended are to be sent directly to PharmCAS as part of the application process.
- Preferred Minimum GPA: 2.5
- Prerequisite Courses
- 59 semester credit hours (SH) of prerequisites completed with a grade of “C” or better are required for entry into the program at the time of matriculation. CLEP credits with appropriate scores may be accepted for any non-science classes.

Please note that if accepted into the program, all outstanding prerequisite courses must have been complete with a grade of “C” or better.

All foreign transcripts must be evaluated by an accredited service approved by Shenandoah University with preference for World Education Services. Evaluations should be sent directly to PharmCAS for inclusion in your application.

Letters from friends and family members will not be accepted. Please follow the PharmCAS instructions for submitting the letters.
